Family Information Nelson is married to Nafula Olivia and they have 3 children; Nelson, Martha, and Noah.

Nelson is attending the BGM Pastor Training Program to improve his skills and knowledge of the Bible and how to share it with others. He feels that God is calling him to become a pastor.

After Nelson’s mother left him at the age of 2, his father was remarried and his step mom mistreated him often. Once he was old enough, he left home and began living on the street surviving on food he would steal from people’s gardens. As he was walking one day, he passed by a church that was having a service and he felt led to go inside. He was welcomed by the members and remained even after the service to speak with the pastor. He received Christ as his Savior after hearing the gospel.

He says “I hope to preach the gospel throughout this nation and even outside of Uganda..”

 

Sponsoring a pastor in our Pastor Training Program allows the Pastor to attend training at no cost to him!  All meals (3 meals a day), lodging, basic toiletries, training supplies and materials, teacher costs, graduation gowns, certificates, and Bible, and basic medical needs should they arise are all included.  During the week each month that the pastors are at the Training Center, they are fully taken care of.
